Our Trip...

All year we had planned to go to DC...but at the last minute (not even a week before we were leaving) I changed our plans. :) I didn't want to go to DC...I had been there before...yeah...its ok I guess...but...not really a summer vacation spot. So...instead I booked us a trip to Orlando. I went when I was in high school...and loved it. I booked through Sea World...and amazingly...it was super cheap and during the week of the 4th. We got 5 nights in a super nice resort, 2 unlimited tickets to Sea World, and 2 unlimited tickets to Aquatica (Sea World's water park) for only $450. We had a blast. It was exactly what I wanted...and he had a great time too. haha.

Here's a picture of the resort:

Here's the view right outside of our room. Nine hole putt putt.

Of course we had a great time at Sea World and Aquatica. I had been to a water park before...but was too afraid to do anything. This time we rode almost everything. I loved it. Also on our trip...I rode my first rollercoaster. Yes...that's right...I had never ridden a real rollercoaster. Everytime we go to Dollywood my mom tries to pay me off to ride Mystery Mine. We had to wait an hour and a half...but...I guess it was worth it. I'm not sure if I'll do it again...but now...I can say I have done it. :)

So...the week before last I went to the zoo with mom, Ashley, Josh, and the babies while Nathan went fishing with Dad. All day I had this horrible pain in my right side and my stomach was sooo swollen I looked like I was 5 months pregnant.

Here are some cute pictures I got at the zoo.

After the zoo we went to the mall...which probably wasn't the best idea. That's when I realized something wasn't right...at all. I wasn't in the mood to shop..or eat...not even ice cream. haha. I googled my symptoms on my phone...and it came up as appendicitis. So I met up with Nathan (who didn't catch a thing all day) and we drove home. My mom calls and tells Nathan he better take me to the ER. Long story...well...sorta short...they thought it was appendicitis in the ER...sent me home (big no no). I went to the doctor on Monday for a follow up and they kept me. Turns out, I have 2 cysts, one on each ovary. The one of the right is almost an inch...which what was causing me so much pain. The surgeon comes in the examine my stomach in front of my mom, nathan's mom and my sister. While he's pressing on my stomach and practically has me in tears...he says..."you trying to get pregnant, yes?" haha. A little Nathan Cobb running around...can you imagine? We had planned on keeping it a secret...but...he spilled the beans. Then...asks me if I want them to leave. haha. Anyhow...So...now I'm home...not working at the daycare (thank God)...and just waiting. The cysts will "dissolve" on its own, which I am not looking forward to at all.

For now...I feel fine and everything is going great. We have picked out a doublewide and land...I guess that will be my next blog. Hopefully it won't take forever like this one did. :)
